Where Is Your Office Located?

Southview Medical Group, P.C. is located in Office Building 3 on the campus of St. Vincents Hospital.  The main office can be reached by telepohne at (205) 933-4640.


Where Should I park?

Parking for Southview Medical Group is located in the Parking Garage attached to Professional Building 3. The Patient entrance is directly off St. Vincents Drive.


What preparations do I need to make for a Myocardial Perfusion Test?

When scheduled for this test the patient must have no food or drink for 4 hours prior to the test.

Patients having the treadmill GXT must be caffeine free for 12 hours prior to the test.

Patients having the Regadenosine must be caffeine free for 24 hours prior to the test.

The entire test will take 2 ½ to 3 hours.


What preparations do I need to make for a CT?

When scheduled for a CT of the abdomen/pelvis or a "contrast" study, the patient must have no food or drink for 4 hours prior to the test.

 


What preparations do I need to make for an Ultrasound?

When scheduled for an Ultrasound of the abdomen, liver, gallbladder, or aorta, the patient must have no food, or drink after 12:00am (midnight) prior to the test.

 


What time does your lab and x-ray department open?

The Lab and X-Ray departments are open from 7:30am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday. All patients must sign in at the front desk before services are rendered.

What time do the physician office phone lines open?

Phone lines are open from 8:30am to 4:00pm

 


Flu Shot Availability?

Seasonal flu vaccine will be available to our patients with scheduled appointments. Please check this site for special dates and times.

 


Do you validate parking tickets?

Due to change in Hospital policy, Southview is no longer able to validate parking tickets.
