This is a broad field, including many types of illnesses and dealing with all the body organs. An Internist is also used in a preventive capacity, when consulted for "routine" periodic examinations, which are being done increasingly today.

The Internists are associated in practice in order to utilize combined experience and training to make the highest quality care available to our patients at all times. We are able to consult with one another on difficult cases for diagnosis and treatment.

The invasive procedures may include but are not limited to: arterio-grams, PTCA, and pacemaker implantation. These would be scheduled by our office but typically done in a hospital setting.
